Locality:Blue Point Mine, Pearl Station, Thunder Bay District, Ontario, Canada
Description:Elongated cluster of lustrous purple amethyst quartz crystals with red-brown hematite microcrystal inclusions just beneath the surface of the terminations giving the amethyst crystals a reddish color. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1970s.
Overall Size:8x3.5x2.5 cm
