Locality:O and G Industries Southbury Quarry, Southbury, New Haven County, Connecticut
Description:Banded formation of pale-purple amethystine quartz crystals 24 mm thick with pale-green datolite crystals to 0.5 mm coating the top surfaces with bladed quartz casts to 5 mm and a brown triangular quartz pseudomorph after an 18 mm calcite.
