Mineral:Diopside with Phlogopite
Locality:Dog Lake, Ontario, Canada
Description:Large translucent gray-brown diopside crystals to 60 mm with a few hexagonal translucent brown phlogopite mica crystals to 5 mm. The cluster is fully crystallized on all sides. Note the cavities where calcite crystallized and later dissolved.
