Locality:Uchucchaqua Mine, Oyon Province, Lima Department, Peru
Description:Lustrous transparent red rhodochrosite crystals to 11 mm over lustrous transparent colorless quartz crystals to 1 mm lining the surfaces of a cavity wall. The rhodochrosite crystals are scalenohedral form with slight striations on some crystal faces.
