Locality:Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Blocky amazonite crystals, the green variety of microcline feldspar colored by trace lead impurities, to 22 mm with scattered lustrous transparent smoky quartz crystals to 10 mm plus remnants of corroded brown siderite crystals. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s.
