Mineral:Microcline with Smoky Quartz
Locality:Moat Mountain, west of North Conway, Carroll County, New Hampshire
Description:Blocky microcline feldspar crystals to 15 mm with scattered lustrous transparent smoky quartz crystals to 10 mm plus remnants of corroded brown siderite crystals. The microcline has pale green color, but not enough to qualify as amazonite.
Overall Size:7.5x4.5x4 cm
