Mineral:Elbaite Tourmaline partially altered to Lepidolite
Locality:Minas Gerais, Brazil
Description:Partial crystal of lustrous transparent dark-green elbaite with the core exposed on the underside revealing the elbaite altered to pink lepidolite mica. When viewed on the end you can see the elbaite is 3-5 mm thick with the core entirely lepidolite.
Overall Size:14x3.5x2.5 cm
