Locality:Judd's Bridge, Washington, Litchfield County, Connecticut
Description:Compact crystallized mass of bladed translucent blue kyanite crystals in milky quartz. This locality has exceptionally hard quartz matrix which makes extraction of the kyanite difficult. Good specimen with deep color for the locality. Ex. B. Gaber collection #2436; collected ca. 1980 by R. Sahno
