Description:Lustrous transparent purple amethyst quartz crystals to 3 mm with unusual formation of acicular 1.5 mm calcite crystals in epitactic orientation growing out on both side of thin calcite crystal plates to 10 mm. Ex. J. Kohnowhich collection
