Description: | Tan-colored rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals to 10 mm topped with translucent colorless quartz crystals to 9 mm and scattered yellow-metallic pyrite microcrystals. The tan color is a surface alteration-coating on pink rhodochrosite. Ex. Don Knowles |
