Description:Elongated specimen of lustrous transparent purple amethyst crystals to 11 mm with scattered red-brown hematite microcrystals. The amethyst crystals exhibit the deepest purple in core zones of the terminations. Collected by John Lawson (1942-2024) and Robert Lawson in January 2009
