Description: | Translucent white quartz pseudomorphs after tabular rhombohedral barite crystals to 22 mm. Thin bladed barite crystals formed first, then were overgrown by small quartz crystals, finally the barite dissolved leaving hollow epimorphs. Ex. A. Stevenson (1916-2007) collection #2285 |
