Description: | Sharp tetrahedral tennantite crystals to 15 mm with sooty dark surfaces coating, plus lustrous yellow-metallic pyrite (rare at Tsumeb) microcrystals that contrast the tennantite crystals nicely. Two tennantite crystals have small chips on the edges. Ex. A. Mura #MU176, originally acquired from Mara Gems and Minerals (Pretoria) |
