Description: | Lustrous black prismatic arfvedsonite crystal with flat chisel-shaped termination. Terminated arfvedsonite crystals are rare from Hurricane Mountain where they occur embedded in solid microcline. Has glue remnants on bottom where it was mounted. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s. |
