Locality:Prince of Wales Island, Alaska
Description:Sharp, well formed brown goethite pseudomorphs after rectangular striated pyrite crystals to 28 mm with tetrahexahedral faces on one corner. The pyrite crystallized first then altered molecule by molecule to goethite while maintaining the pyrite shape. Ex. Judy and Chris Cook collection
