Description: | Lustrous transparent hexagonal bixbite crystal, the red-violet variety of beryl commonly sold as Red Beryl, on light-gray rhyolite clay. The red beryl crystal has flat basal pinacoid termination. Has an engraved number plate glued to the bottom. |
