Description: | Translucent white calcite pseudomorphs after tabular hexagonal aragonite crystals with red-brown matrix in crevices. The aragonite crystallized first, then altered molecule by molecule to calcite, maintaining the original form of the aragonite. Ex. B. Gaber collection #1302; ex. David M. Shannon (1942-2004) |
