Description:Unusual formation of parallel sphalerite crystals that reflect illumination simultaneously off the crystal faces. The sphalerite crystals appear black but are actually transparent dark red-brown. Ex. B. Gaber collection #668; ex. Paul Pohwat collection (Mineral Collection Manager at Smithsonian) collected on 3 June 1988
