Description: | Lustrous transparent pale-purple amethyst quartz crystals to 7 mm lining one face of pyrite-rich matrix with a few translucent colorless calcite crystals to 3 mm. Amethyst is uncommon in the Bisbee mining region. Ex. B. Gaber collection; ex. David Garske, collected ca. 1944-45 |
