Description:Solid crystallized mass of green amazonite, the variety of microcline caused by trace lead impurities. From the collection of Scott Turner, Dir. Of the Bureau of Mines during the Hoover administration, with note indicating it came from the Smithsonian. Ex. John A. Rorer, Jr. collection #325; Ex.
