| Description: | Lustrous yellow transparent-to-translucent tapered hexagonal mimetite crystals to 14 mm covering all surfaces of gray-metallic galena which is exposed in only a few areas. The best mimetite crystals are in an elongated cavity where they were protected. Ex. Gianguido Giannobi collection; acquired in 1985(?) from Arnold Huber (Bruneck, South Tyrol) |
