Description: | Well formed quartz pseudomorphs after scalenohedral calcite to 15 mm with black coating of an unknown oxide mineral. The calcite crystallized first, was overgrown with quartz, then the calcite dissolved away naturally leaving the pseudomorphs. Ex. B. Gaber collection #1513 |
