Description: | Elongated cluster of translucent-to-transparent smoky quartz crystals to 30 mm overgrown on platy albite, variety cleavelandite with a quartz-rich crystallized pocket clay between the quartz crystals. The crystals have textured surfaces on select faces. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection, collected in the 1960s-70s. |
