Locality:Pachapaqui Mine, Bolognesi Province, Ancash Department, Peru
Description:Large platy manganese-rich calcite crystals to 40 mm over quartz, galena, pyrite with brown limonite stains in some areas. The calcite crystals are overgrown with a second generation of smaller rhombohedral calcite crystals in epitactic orientation.
