Description: | Lustrous translucent yellow-orange blocky wulfenite crystals lining cavities running throughout the cluster with a few translucent colorless quartz crystals to 2 mm. With old label listing the donor as William S. Vaux, the best collector of his time. Ex. Westtown School (founded 1779 in West Chester, Pa.) Collection no. 8079, donated by William Sansom Vaux (1811-1882). |
