Description: | Large specimen of lustrous translucent dark-brown andradite garnet crystals covering one face of matrix. The andradite crystals are dodecahedral with trapezohedral edge modifications. The base was sawn so the specimen stands upright without support. Ex. Jim Minette (1936-2002) |
