Description: | Large plate of lustrous transparent colorless apophyllite crystals to 5 mm with yellow-metallic pyrite microcrystals on the surfaces. The apophyllite crystals are rectangular form with truncated {111} faces on the corners and fluoresce white under SW UV. Ex Jeff Weissman collection #1871; ex. Joe Cilen (1916-1997) #1441; acquired from Schortmanns in 1964 |
