Locality: | Rowley Mine, 20 km northwest of Theba, Painted Rock Mountains, Maricopa County, Arizona |
Description: | Lustrous orange-brown vanadinite pseudomorphs after bladed wulfenite crystals to 10 mm on fragment of matrix. Apparently the wulfenite crystallized first, then was encrusted with vanadinite crystals resulting in epimorphs of the original wulfenite. Collected ca. 1978 |
