Description:Striated octahedral black magnetite crystal in quartz-albite matrix from the rock exposure on the east side of Route 9 at the Beaver Meadow Road exit. The magnetite crystals is complete and highly magnetic. One corner is chipped. Ex. Marcelle (1918-2003) and Charles (1917-2003) Weber collection #2745
