Locality: | Rowley Mine, 20 km northwest of Theba, Painted Rock Mountains, Maricopa County, Arizona |
Description: | Lustrous translucent orange vanadinite pseudomorphs after bladed wulfenite crystals to 3 mm in a shallow cavity in white barite. The wulfenite crystallized first, then was encrusted with vanadinite crystals resulting in epimorphs of wulfenite. Ex. B. Gaber collection #658; ex.
