Locality: | Ossipee Gulch (Raccoon Gulch), Folsom Brook, Carroll County, New Hampshire |
Description: | Many opaque black smoky quartz crystals to 22 mm on tan-colored blocky microcline crystals to 25 mm. The smoky quartz crystals are so dark they could be called morion quartz and have textured (etched) crystal faces. The large microcline is incomplete. Ex. Jim Tovey collection |
