Locality:Manaoshan Mine, Hunan, China
Description:Translucent pale-pink manganese-rich scalenohedral calcite crystal with surfaces composed of many smaller parallel rhombohedral crystal faces that give it a satin luster. Microscopic yellow-metallic pyrite crystals are scattered throughout.
Overall Size:5x3x2.5 cm
Crystals:micro to 50 mm
