Locality:Boekenhouthoek area, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa
Description:Cluster of deep-purple amethyst quartz crystals to 55 mm long with overgrowth of smaller 3-4 mm amethyst quartz crystals around the prism faces of the larger crystals, but they do not coat the terminations of the larger crystals except the biggest.
