Description: | Large single crystal of translucent dark-blue azurite with no matrix. The azurite crystal is bladed form with complex crystallization patterns on the prism and termination faces. Note the repeated parallel naturally-crystallized serrations on the edge. Ex. Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia collection #21410, collected on the fourth George Vaux (1863-1927) funded expedition 1929-1930 |
