Locality:Barra do Salinas, Coronel Murta, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Description:Large lath-like bladed blue kyanite crystals w2ith fractured translucent gray quartz between the kyanite crystals. The kyanite crystals vary from transparent to translucent. More quartz could be removed to expose more kyanite with careful excavation.
