Description: | Velvety green malachite pseudomorphs after bladed azurite crystals to 20 mm intergrown with translucent colorless quartz crystals to 13 mm. The azurite crystallized first, then altered atom by atom to malachite while maintaining the azurite shape. Ex. Fay M. Pough in 1969 |
