Locality:Long Hill, Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut
Description:Terminated segments of a hexagonal aquamarine crystal, the blue-green gem variety of the mineral species beryl, with thin gray quartz between the segments. The aquamarine crystal fractured after crystallizing, but was frozen in the surrounding quartz.
