Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Translucent white tarnowitzite crystals, the lead-rich variety of the mineral aragonite, over a core of colorless quartz. The tarnowitzite crystals are hexagonal form with pyramidal terminations, have silky luster, and fluoresce white under SW UV.
