Mineral:Beryl var. Aquamarine in Quartz
Locality:(Kinkel Quarry?), Bedford, Westchester County, New York
Description:Elongated lustrous transparent-to-translucent blue aquamarine beryl crystal exposed on one face of gray quartz. Under LW UV illumination green fluorescence is visible in fractures and surfaces from a late hydrothermal mineral. The rear was sawn flat. Collected by Harold Uhlin ca. 1960
