Description: | Exceptionally large red beryl crystal in tan-colored rhyolite. The rhyolite was carefully excavated around the red beryl crystal which has whitish rhyolite inclusions in areas. The red beryl crystal is prismatic hexagonal form with pinacoid terminations. Collected in 1989 |
