Description: | Lustrous transparent purple amethyst quartz crystal with minor white albite on the bottom where it was attached. The purple color of the amethyst is in phantom growth zones and exhibit reverse hour-glass shape. Ex. Thomas A. Penney (1934-2019) collection #78, collected in the 1960s-70s. |
