Description: | Lustrous yellow-metallic marcasite pseudomorphs after scalenohedral calcite crystals to 40 mm that is hollow on the underside. The calcite crystallized first, then marcasite grew over, finally the calcite dissolved. Show no sign of decomposition. Collected ca. 1945 |
