Description: | Lustrous gray-metallic acanthite pseudomorphs after pseudo-cubic argentite crystals to 5 mm. The argentite crystallized first but is stable only above 179° C. It altered to acanthite when it cooled below that temperature resulting in pseudomorphs. Ex. W. Frech (1913-1998) collection #626 |
