Description: | Lustrous transparent deep-green emerald crystals, the green gem variety of the mineral beryl, with lustrous yellow-metallic pyrite crystals to 3 mm in sooty gray matrix. The emerald crystals are hexagonal form with flat basal pinacoid terminations. |
