Locality: | Pond Hill, near Pearl Lake, Lisbon, Grafton County, New Hampshire |
Description: | Large prismatic brown staurolite crystals to 30 mm in grainy gray schist with scattered dodecahedral brown almandine garnet crystals to 8 mm. The schist was sandblasted to exposed the staurolite and almandine crystals which were harder than the schist. Collected ca. 1995 |
