Description: | Jack-straw habit white cerussite crystals in gray-brown matrix from a one-time find. Cerussite is rare in the Butte District. The notes on the label indicate it was from a nearby surface outcrop, not from inside the mine. One of four specimens collected by Mike Goble in 1986, the others were donated to the Butte School of Mines (Montana Tech) |
