Description: | Lustrous doubly-terminated transparent-to-translucent purple amethyst quartz crystals with remnants of greenish matrix on the edge of one face. The amethyst crystals have microscopic red hematite inclusions and deepest color at the terminations. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) |
