Mineral:Lazulite with Siderite and Quartz
Locality:Rapid Creek, 70 km northwest of Aklavik, Yukon, Canada
Description:Large plate (for this occurrence) of lustrous dark-blue lazulite crystals with brown siderite and colorless quartz on the rear. The lazulite crystals formed in a narrow vein that constricted growth, resulting in some crystals contacting the cavity wall.
