Description: | Very large cluster of lustrous translucent greenish-beige barite crystals to 10 mm over an earlier generation of white barite crystals with scattered transparent yellow sulfur crystals to 1.5 mm. The barite fluoresces white under SW UV illumination. Ex. J. Durkos collection #459, originally acquired in 1985 for $400 from the Lesnicks |
