Mineral:Willemite over Rosasite with Azurite
Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Translucent pale-green willemite crystals to 1 mm over green rosasite(?) microcrystals plus blue azurite crystals to 0.5 mm. The willemite crystals are easily mistaken for smithsonite, but there is no response to HCL and specific gravity is to low. Ex. Dr. N. Luppescu
